January is a month of learning and development (an omen for the course of the year I hope) joining other projects and learning new tricks.
Wed Jan 25th. Caravan Music Club Oakleigh (Vic)
Mandy joins choir ‘If You See Her Say Hello‘ at the Caravan Music Club. the choir will perform three original songs as a support set, then get up and sing with the headline act, Hat Fitz and Cara.
‘If You See Her…’ Is made up of Melbourne women songwriters and performs original work from each of them. It’s a great honour to be asked to join, and an even bigger one to get to join the babes in backing the incredible Hat Fitz and Cara for their dirty blues and gospel inspired work.
Bookings strongly recommended as this will sell out. It’s advisable to book a table / dinner as seating is limited for ticket-only punters
Jan 26, 27, 28 – Newstead Live! Music Festival
Joining Dingo’s Breakfast (Le by John Angliss and Roger Montgomery ) for their Australian history inspired show of story songs. This is a bit-part really – it’s not a ‘Connell’ show as you might expect to see her. Check out the links for more info on Dingos Breakfast.
Toubadour Weekend- 10-13 March
The event is held on the Labour Day weekend every March and usually attracts a full house of around 150 people. Consequently booking is initially by invitation, which means that priority is given to people who have attended before, and their friends, and if all tickets are not taken by the end of November it is then opened up to anyone.
